Leslie Pellerin (Seeley)
Inducted April 11th, 1997
Leslie Pellerin (Seeley) was born in Oshawa in 1963 and she began an exceptional 4 year collegiate career at Durham inĀ 1982. Prior to graduating in 1986 she was named OCAA All-Star for Softball in 1984-85; Volleyball in 1985-86; and Basketball 3 time 1982 to 1985; Leslie established herself as a rare three sport athlete. In all, she won a DC record 11 Championship Medals in her four years; 8 Gold, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze.
As a standout infielder and also point guard she helped the Lords to three consecutive OCAA Championships in Softball from 1982-85 and back-to-back OCAA Championships in Division II Basketball in 1982-83 and 1983-84. her successes continued with her selection as Female Athlete of the Year in 1984-85 and culminated by being a valuable member of the Lady Lords Volleyball team that won the Ontario Championship and a Bronze Medal at the CCAA Nationals in Burnaby, BC in 1985-86.
Before graduating and closing out an outstanding collegiate career, Leslie became the All-time career scoring leader in Division II Women's Basketball.
