Inducted April 9th, 1999

Susan Scobie (Smith) was born in St. Mary's in 1966 and she began an exceptional 3 year collegiate career at Durham in 1984.  Prior to graduating from Sports Administration in 1987 she was an OCAA All-Star thirdbasemen in Women's Softball leading her team to back-to-back OCAA Championships in 1984 and 1985.  She also captained the 1985-86 Volleyball team to the school's first ever Division I Volleyball title and first ever trip to Nationals, winning a Bronze Medal in British Columbia.  Sue also served on the Student Athletic Association and capped off her College Athletic Career by being named Female Athlete of the Year at Durham in 1986-87
