Baumgaertner, an animal care major, scored her first OCAA goal in Thursday's 1-0 victory over the Loyalist Lancers at home. She intercepted a Loyalist pass and cut towards the middle of the pitch. With a defender closing the gap and from about 30 yards out she drove the ball off the sprawling goalkeeper and into the back of the net. Her goal stood as the game-winning goal in Durham's first win of the season.
