Alison Chasczewski, CAT(C), D.O.M.P.

Graduated from McMaster University in 1995, with a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education, she then obtained a Diploma in Sports Injury Management from Sheridan College, in 2000. In 2010, Alison graduated from the Canadian College of Osteopathy and is now a practicing Osteopathic Manual Practitioner.
As well as the many national and provincial sport events hosted by our college and university campus, Alison has served at a variety of major sporting events including the 2005 Women's Lacrosse National team training camps, the 2007 World Cup U19 Women's Lacrosse, the 2009 Canada Summer Games, 2011 Team Ontario U17 Women's Lacrosse team tour to Germany. Most recently she was the Chief Therapist in charge of host medical services for the 2013 FIL women's Lacrosse World Cup. Alison has also had the pleasure of working with several professional athletes from the Toronto Rock, UFC and Glory World Series Kickboxing.

Jenna started in the role of Athletic Therapist at Durham College in 2022. Prior to that, she was an Athletic Therapist for Ontario Tech University (2019-2022) and Carleton University (2016-2019). She has worked with a variety of Varsity programs with a strong affinity for volleyball and rugby. Jenna's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen's University (2015), Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy from Mount Royal University (2016), Diploma in Pedorthics from Western University (2019), and prospective Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Sciences through McMaster University. Â
Career highlights include U SPORTS Volleyball Nationals, RSEQ Rugby Provincials, Volleyball Canada Training Camps Junior Program, Volleyball Nations League, Ontario Special Olympics, and Ontario Parasport Games. She also holds a role as Lab Instructor in the Kinesiology Department at Ontario Tech University teaching injury management and assessment techniques. Jenna has always had a passion for sport and biomechanics and is eager to continue contributions to the field of health sciences and the Athletics Department at Durham College.

Dana Renfrew, CAT(C), BSc, BAHSc

Dana joins Durham College as a Certified Athletic Therapist for the 2024-2025 season. She received a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Medical Science from the University of Guelph (2015), and continued on to Sheridan College to complete her Honours Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences in Athletic Therapy (2020).Â

She comes from private practice, where she helped athletes competing at national levels along with those participating in recreational leagues. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable field experience in a number of high-performance settings, including: League1 Ontario Soccer, OFSAA Wrestling & Volleyball, Canada Cup Volleyball, Provincial Volleyball Championships, 16U & 17U All Canadian Volleyball, Ontario Parasport Games, ECHL Hockey, and a CFL Training Camp. She also spent time working at Sheridan College as a Lab Instructor in the Athletic Therapy program, teaching second year Emergency Conditions labs. Dana is happy to be back in the varsity sport setting, and looks forward supporting Lords student-athletes this upcoming season!
