Dean, an addictions & mental health student, led the women’s volleyball team to a pair of victories at home over the weekend. On Friday against Algonquin she finished with a match-high 20 points, which included 13 kills, a block and six service aces. Against La Cité on Saturday, over two sets, she had seven aces, a block and four kills.

Dean and the women’s volleyball team will now travel to Barrie on Thursday night to face the Georgian Grizzlies.

The Durham College athlete of the week awards are presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
