Dean, an addictions and mental health major, was also efficient – as she has been all year – to open the second half of the season. In Durham’s tenth straight victory of the season she had 10 kills, two aces and two blocks, while finishing with a .467 hitting percentage. On Saturday, Dean had an even better outing, finishing with a .643 hitting percentage. She had nine kills, five aces and a block in the team’s victory over the George Brown Huskies.
The volleyball teams return to action Friday in Ottawa when the face the Algonquin Thunder at 6 and 8 p.m. On Saturday, they round out their trip to the nation’s capital with matinee matches against the La Cité Coyotes.
