Dube, a health science major, was a key player in the Lords comeback against the Redeemer Royals on the opening day of the OCAA championship. After going down 2-0 in the match Durham battled back to win 3-2. He finished with 16 kills and two aces in the comeback victory, which he followed with eight kills in 3-0 sweep of the No. 1 ranked Fanshawe Falcons. Dube was named a tournament all-star and player of the game after the gold medal match, which he finished with six kills.
