Ahanda helped Durham's men's indoor soccer team earn a spot in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) championship for the first time since 2012 after posting a 2-1-0 record at regionals.

Durham opened up the regional championship with a pair of 6-0 wins over St. Lawrence and Sault to book a spot at provincials. Ahanda scored some key goals for the Lords, but it was his play on defence that earned him the athlete of the week award.

The Lords will make their return to the provincial championship that is being hosted by Redeemer University from March 23-25.
