Durham College Athletics

OSHAWA, Ont. – Stephane Ahanda (Cameroon) of the men's soccer team and Dondre Huggins (Scarborough, Ont.) of the men's basketball team have been named Durham College student-athletes of the week presented by Subway North Oshawa for the period ending November 12.
 
Huggins set a career high Tuesday night in Barrie, Ont., delivering 24 points and nine rebounds against the Georgian Grizzlies. Huggins topped his career high by eleven points, scoring 35 points against the Loyalist Lancers on Friday night, going 6-for-11 beyond the arc and 7-for-8 from the free-throw line. The Lords picked up to two straight overtime wins on the road.
 
This week the men's basketball team is off as they prepare to face the George Brown Huskies at home on Tuesday. Tip off is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the CRWC. 
 
The Durham College athlete of the week award is presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
