Bissonette, a first-year welding engineering major, was the difference-maker in goal during the Lords consolation final shootout win over the UTM Eagles. Starting in net for the final match of the OCAA championship tournament, Bissonette made numerous diving stops, recording 21 saves in the victory. Most impressive was his performance in the shootout where he allowed just one goal during the 11-round back-and-forth. In the end Bissonette recorded both the game-winning goal, having to step to the penalty kick spot himself after the Lords had exhausted all other eligible players, and the game-winning save.
