Huggins, a third-year building construction technician student, continued to be a key component to the Lords second half run as Durham has won 10 of their last 11 games heading into the OCAA crossover round. In two wins this past week, Huggins surpassed 20 points, having now only failed to reach double digit scoring in just one of his nine games played this semester. In the Lords Saturday night win over La Cite he totaled 22 points in 22 minutes of action, knocking down six three-pointers, while shooting 50 per cent from the field. He then followed that up with a 20 point performance in Durham's regular season finale win versus Algonquin. In addition to his offensive contributions, Huggins contributed at the defensive end with three steals and three blocks between the two games.
