Fraser, a second-year graphic design major, was vital to the Lords capturing their second provincial medal in three years as Durham picked up bronze at the OCAA women's volleyball championship this past weekend. Before competition began, Fraser was honoured as an OCAA east first team all-star following a spectacular sophomore season in which she averaged 2.46 digs per set from her libero position. Her strong defensive play continued into the weekend where she totaled 32 digs over three matches. The best performance was saved for last when she recorded a team-high 14 digs, including two incredible pancake saves, in the Lords 3-1 bronze medal final win over Humber. Fraser earned player of the match honours in what would be the first win for the Lords over the Hawks since 2001-02.
