Parson, a second-year protection, security, and investigations student, was a driving force in the Lords crucial Friday afternoon win over Algonquin. The victory allowed Durham to jump into first place in the east. Parson was a vital part of the Lords offence, scoring three tries from his second row position, in addition to making several long runs after breaking through Algonquin's would-be tacklers. He was also strong defensively, limiting the Thunder's interior attack with key tackles of his own.
