Parkins, a second-year fitness and health promotion major, was exceptional for the Lords in their decisive semifinal victory over Seneca this past Saturday. The speedy wing player has been a key defensive player for Durham all season long coming up with a number of sensational tackles, adding to those totals in shutting down the Sting attack. In addition to his sure-tackles, Parkins has come on as an offensive weapon, adding two more tries in the semifinal win to his season totals, helping the Lords secure a berth to the OCAA gold medal game for the second year in a row.
