Cooper, a second-year sport management student, once again proved to be a difference-maker in the most important of times as he assisted in the Lords provincial championship win this past weekend. Claiming the OCAA banner for the second consecutive season, it was Cooper who repeated history in scoring the game-winning try for the green and gold in the final, a feat he also achieved in last year's exciting contest. Powering his way through Grizzlies defenders, his late second half try lifted the Lords lead to 19-7, allowing DC enough space to hold on for the 22-17 championship victory. Cooper was also recognized as an OCAA league all-star after recording six tries in five regular season contests this fall, finishing fifth in the OCAA east scoring race.
