Gray, a fifth-year sport management major, was honoured with a number of accolades this past week following a spectacular regular season and OCAA championship performance. Before the provincial tournament began, the dynamic setter was recognized as a CCAA All-Canadian, OCAA east player of the year, and OCAA first team all-star at the OCAA championship banquet. Gray then went on to lead the Lords in a quarter-final win over Redeemer, being named player of the match after recording 22 assists, nine digs and seven points in three quick sets. The Lords then scored a semifinal victory over Fanshawe, with Gray registering 43 assists, 16 digs, and four points. The win secured a berth to the CCAA national championship for DC. In the gold medal match, Gray added another 31 assists, eight digs, and four points to his totals, being named an OCAA championship all-star.
