Oliver, a first-year trade fundamentals student, was honoured with multiple individual awards heading into the OCAA championship tournament this past week. She was named a CCAA All-Canadian, OCAA east player of the year, OCAA east and overall rookie of the year, OCAA first team all-star, and an OCAA all-rookie. Although the Lords dropped their quarter-final match to the eventual OCAA champion Fanshawe Falcons, Oliver had an exceptional performance against the nationally ranked opponent. Surpassing her regular season high of 27 points, Oliver led all scorers with an astonishing 37 points. The 5'10 forward showed incredible skill on both ends of the floor, pulling down 24 rebounds, including 14 off the offensive glass. The dominant freshman also added two assists and two steals to her impressive stat line.
