Being named the Margaret Greenley Female Athlete of the Year, Joensen had an outstanding season with the women’s volleyball team. The fourth-year outside hitter was named a CCAA All-Canadian, OCAA east player of the year, and an OCAA east first team all-star. Joensen finished the regular season second in team scoring with 151 total points from 115 kills, 28 service aces, and eight blocks. The team captain also led the team with 104 digs, bringing her career total to 423, which marks a new program-high.
