Luo, a second-year computer systems technology major, was dominant for the DC League of Legends squad during a hard fought NECC semifinal matchup with the St. Clair Saints this past Friday. The Lords team captain almost brought his team back by bullying the Saints in his 1-on-1 matchups during the all Canadian semifinal showdown. At one point in the League of Legends contest Luo found himself up five Kills and three Deaths against his opponent who was held to one Kill and five Deaths. The underdog Lords were unable to complete the upset over St. Clair, but making it to the semifinal round following wins over Fanshawe, Ottawa, Purdue University, Converse University, and UTM in the quarter-finals was a great look for DC Esports heading into next semester.
