OSHAWA, Ont. – Emily Hacker (Cobourg, Ont.) has been named the Durham College student-athlete of the week presented by Boston Pizza North Oshawa for the period ending Nov. 2.

Hacker, a first-year police foundations student, helped the women’s volleyball team win their first regular season game of the week on Thursday, Oct. 30. In their 3-0 victory over Loyalist she led the team alongside Jessica Broad with five kills, while adding three service aces and three digs.
