Coleman and Marshall named student-athletes of the week
OSHAWA, Ont. – Nick Coleman (Brooklin, Ont.) and Kayla Marshall (Ottawa, Ont.) have been named the Durham College student-athletes of the week presented by Boston Pizza North Oshawa for the period ending Jan. 18.
Coleman, an architectural technology student, had a season-high six blocks in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Canadore. He also added two kills in the match. In the Lords straight sets victory on Wednesday at Loyalist he had 10 kills, five blocks and two service aces. The victories improved Durham’s record to 13-0. Their next game is Jan. 24 at Seneca.
