Durham College Athletics

George Matsusaki brought over 10 years of coaching experience to the Lords, coaching primarily with the Ganaraska Wolves Volleyball Club. He has also coached Region Four in the Ontario Games for five years, winning three championships and a bronze medal.

Since joining the Lords in 2013 he has led the team to the OCAA championship all but one season and saw Durham College win silver in 2017 - the program's first medal since 2006. Through five years he also has an impressive .815 win percentage in conference play. 

Before his time at Durham, Matsusaki was the head coach of the Clarke High School senior boys and girls teams who have had a number of OFSAA appearances and several medal performances. He is a University of Western Ontario graduate who has been and continues to be an educator at Clarke High School in Orono with the Kawartha Pine Ridge School Board.
