Deluxshan joined the Durham College athletic department in 2015-16 after coaching four seasons at Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute at both junior and senior levels.
He was also an assistant coach for 11 years under British professional coach Sean Loucks, coached at-risk youth teams within the Flemingdon Park community and was the head coach for Markham Unionville Minor Basketball Association's (MUMBA) OBA U-13 team.
As a player he was a bronze medalist as the starting point guard for team Sri Lanka in the Asian Community Games, starting guard at Marc Garneau during high school and played in the USA Junior Nationals tournament.
