Kali Burnham

  • Title
    Assistant Coach

Burnham earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education at The University of Maine where she played NCAA Division I softball on a full scholarship. She was a four-year starter and nationally ranked as one of the most difficult batters to strike out and second in the nation for sacrifice hits. She went on to complete her master’s degree in Physical Education at Boston University.

Before attending UMaine Burnham was a fixture on the Markham Jaguars Softball team, but from 2010 until now she has played on one of the most successful teams in recent history: formerly Whitby Eagles Theriault now Kars Aces Senior. Burnham has played in 14 different Nationals medaling 12 times and winning seven times. She won individual national all-star awards in 2010, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2019.

After graduating, Kali took a job as assistant softball coach at Durham College in 2014 and 2015, but went back to school to pursue her passion for healthcare, recently graduating from the DC's Advanced Care Paramedic program. Now that she is on the career path she loves she is turning her attention and considerable wealth of knowledge back to the younger generation.
