Karen Michalicka brings over 20 years of coaching experience with both boys and girls at the youth level and with women at the regional and provincial level in the Ontario Women’s Soccer League (OWSL). She has held both head coach and assistant coach positions in the Durham District Program and is currently head coach with Ajax FC 2002 girls program.
Michalicka and her husband John reside in Pickering and have three children all whom have played soccer at the competitive and provincial level. Her eldest daughter Jennifer is a graduate of Durham College where she played for the Lords for three years and won two OCAA championships and a bronze medal at the national championship in Halifax. Stephanie was a goalkeeper with Ajax United and Mark also a goalkeeper with Ajax FC and Whitby SC.
When not on the pitch, she can be found in the pool swimming, running, riding her bike and best of all playing a round of golf.
