Kirby, a sport management major, had her best game of the season offensively on Saturday at home as she put up 22 points in an 83-44 victory over the Loyalist Lancers. Her previous total was 12 on January 12 at George Brown.
 
Both basketball teams wrap up their regular seasons on Tuesday night at home against the St. Lawrence Vikings. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 and 8 p.m. at the CRWC. On Saturday, the women's team will host their OCAA championship qualifying game at 6 p.m. As fourth in the east they host the five seed from the west. The winner will travel to Seneca College the following weekend for the OCAA championship.

The Durham College athlete of the week awards are presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
