Brzezinski, a third-year child and youth worker student, was a major factor in the Lords first podium result at the OCAA championship since 2009, as Durham claimed bronze at the provincial tournament. Brzezinski was a contributor on the score sheet in both Lords victories from this past weekend. The Ajax native scored the Lords first goal of the tournament with the opening marker in Durham's 2-1 quarter-final win over Niagara. She then scored what would become the game-winning goal during the first half of the Lords 4-0 bronze medal win over the OCAA championship host Seneca Sting on Saturday afternoon.
