Bizjak, a third-year chemical engineering technology major, delivered Lords Esports first podium result at their first major venture as a newly minted varsity team, grabbing silver at LAN ETS 2019 in Montreal this past weekend. The Hearthstone team captain finished second out of 56 participants at the large scale event. Despite dropping his first round match during preliminaries, Bizjak bounced back to go undefeated through the next five rounds of competition. Qualifying for the top 16 single elimination round, he then picked up a 3-2 win in the playoffs, followed by another close 3-2 win in the quarter-finals. Moving onto the semifinals, he won by a score of 3-1 to advance to the finals, where he would fall 3-1 to come away with silver in his 10th match of the tournament.
