Grant, a second-year protection, security and investigations student, provided the 2019 CCAA national championship host Durham Lords with a spectacular performance in net as the Lords defeated the Seneca Sting in their season opener this past Saturday at Vaso's Field. Finishing the afternoon with six total saves, including a critical effort in the final ten minutes which saw the Oshawa native make a strong move off his line to stop the Sting attack, Grant earned the clean sheet in the 2-0 victory. Last season Grant recorded 50 total saves and four clean sheets, and he is once again on his way to similarly impressive numbers.
