Pereira, a second-year occupational/physiotherapist assistant major, illustrated once again why she is a value to the top of the Lords lineup with another strong offensive outing. The speedy outfielder notched six hits in the Lords doubleheader victory at Conestoga on Sunday, with DC picking up 7-4 and 12-2 wins. Pereira was 3-for-5 in Game 1 of the day, crossing the plate for the opening run of the day. Then in Game 2 she cracked two triples enroute to a 3-for-4, two RBI and one run follow up. Defensively, she added three put outs recorded in the outfield over the two games.
