Lapointe, a third-year environmental technology major, played a part in every one of DC's three goals in their Friday night home finale victory over Fleming. The win also clinched a home playoff game for the Lords. Lapointe assisted the Lords first goal, sending a perfect pass through the Knights defence to the foot of first-year standout Makayla Rudder (Scarborough, Ont.) for Durham's first goal of the match. She went on to put herself in perfect position to pot home a rebound from a Rudder shot in the 38th minute to score the game-winning goal. Lapointe then repeated the result of the first marker with an another pinpoint pass to Rudder in the 75th minute to secure the important home win with a third goal.
