Joensen, a fourth-year business fundamentals student, helped DC maintain their perfect 6-0 start the season with another exceptional performance in the Lords three set sweep of Georgian at home this past week. Joensen scored a team-high nine points from nine kills in the three set win, but was also a leader defensively adding a game-high eight digs. Through 17 sets played so far this season she has scored at least eight points in each match, leading the No. 9 nationally ranked women's volleyball team in total kills (48), total points (56), and total digs (40).
