Rahnavard, a first-year sport management major, was a dynamic weapon for the Lords as they defeated the visiting Fleming Knights in straight sets on Thursday night at the CRWC. Providing significant contributions to the nationally ranked teams overall success in his rookie campaign, the powerful outside hitter finished the night with a team-high 11 points, recording 10 kills and one service ace. Rahnavard is also a strong defender for the green and gold, tying two other Lords with a team-high eight digs defensively in the victory. In four matches so far this second semester, he has recorded double-digit points in three outings, while maintaining a hitting percentage over .400.
