Hudgins, a third-year sport management student, played a big role for the Lords this past weekend as they hosted the annual Adidas Cup at the CRWC. Hudgins and the Lords battled to a 2-2 record at the tournament, finishing in third place overall. The 6'3 outside hitter was an integral part to DC's attack in all four games played, finishing the weekend with 55 total points from 33 kills, 16 blocks, and six service aces. Highlighting the strong weekend preseason performance was a game-high 19 points versus the Seneca Sting on the second day of the tournament, where Hudgins tallied 10 kills, six blocks, and three aces. The Lords captain also helped on the defensive end, adding 23 digs through the four matches played.
