Durham College lone team undefeated in OCAA East
 
BARRIE, Ont. – The No. 10 ranked Durham College men's volleyball team lost their first set of the season on Friday night, but didn't lose their first match.
 
Durham defeated the Georgian Grizzlies 3-2 to push their regular season record to 4-0.
 
Jeremy Hoekstra and Matt McGirr led Durham College with 16 and 13 kills respectively. Petrus Kuypers and Nick Coleman led the team at the net with five blocks apiece.
 
Darien Hayes, who had eight kills for the Grizzlies, led Georgian College.
 
The Lords won the opening two sets, 25-22 and 25-20, but Georgian bounced back with a 27-25 victory in the third set.
 
Georgian took the fourth 25-19 to force the fifth and final set, which Durham won 15-6.
