OSHAWA, ON - On a rainy Saturday afternoon at Thompson Rugby Park, the Durham College men's rugby team shut out the visiting Sheridan Bruins by a final of 43-0.
In their home opener, the Lords were unfettered by the weather conditions, delivering an explosive first half to jump ahead of the Bruins 26-0.
Nick Wood (Whitby, ON) opened the scoring for the Lords with a quick try, followed by three more scores before the break courtesy
Alex Shewchuk (Ottawa, ON),

Brock Dunn (Ashburn, ON) and centre
Brendyn Beck (Port Hope, ON) also scoring for the Lords in the second half.
