OSHAWA, ON – The Durham Lords men's rugby team stay undefeated with only one game remaining on their regular season schedule after defeating the Seneca Sting at Thompson Rugby Park.
21 different players made an appearance in the Lords 107-3 victory, with the tries being spread around throughout the team.
Brendyn Beck (Port Hope, ON) scored three tries and successfully kicked nine conversions in the match. Alexander Lee (Pickering, ON) also had two conversions, along with two tries scored.
Josh Dunk (Brooklin, ON), Dylan Parson (Caesarea, ON) and Mackenzie Rowley (Ajax, ON) rounded out the players with multiple tries in the match – scoring two each.
Brock Dunn (Ashburn, ON), Felix Barber (Toronto, ON), Jackson Lyn (Brooklin, ON), Jackson MacIntosh (Brooklin, ON), Alex Shewchuk (Ottawa, ON) and James Stockwood (Bowmanville, ON) each found their way on the score sheet with one try scored each. It was a clean match with no cards issued or send-offs.
Sitting first place in the OCAA, the Lords have one match remaining on their regular season schedule as they travel to Barrie to take on the Georgian Grizzlies next weekend.
