OSHAWA, Ont. - Leading after three quarters, the Durham College men's basketball team looked poised to pick up a win on Friday, but the Algonquin Wolves outscored the Lords 22-13 in the final frame to pick up a 76-73 win.
RJ Stephenson (Markham, Ont.) led the Lords with a double-double, dropping 12 points with 13 rebounds.
Keeth Tennant (Toronto, Ont.) had a team-high 22 points for Durham, while Simon Desta had a game-high 28 for the Wolves.
Durham now turns their attention to the Centennial Colts (Feb. 16 – Scarborough) and Seneca Sting (Feb. 18 – Oshawa) next week.
