PETERBOROUGH, ON – A 33-point performance from
Adam Hosseini (Toronto, ON) led the Durham Lords to a second consecutive win with a 96-73 victory over the Fleming Knights.
It was a back and forth first quarter as the Lords came out of the frame leading by two, but Durham would extend that lead going into halftime by a 13-point margin. The Lords kept their foot on the gas in the second half, scoring 48 more points.
Hosseini was the greatest contributor shooting 13-for-18 with 33 points, six assists, five rebounds and a steal. Three other Lords posted double digit points, including
Mark Stoop (Oshawa, ON) off the bench with 15 points.
The Lords took advantage of their opportunities, shooting 61.9% on field goals and completing 77.8% of free throws taken. Rebounds were also the story of the game, with Durham nearly doubling Fleming 40-21.
96 points would be Durham's highest total in an OCAA regular season game since February 16, 2019. The 23-point margin of victory was also their largest in an OCAA regular season game since November 12, 2020.
