PETERBOROUGH, ON – The Durham Lords went on the road to Fleming College, winning in four sets and improving to 3-0 on the season as the top team in the OCAA East Division.
Fleming kept it close through two sets, although Durham came out on top 25-20 after the first and 26-24 after the second. The winless Knights would win their first set of the season 25-19 to stay alive in the match, but the Lords bounced back with a 25-19 win of their own in the fourth set to defeat the Knights 3-1.
Tyler Jegen (Calgary, AB) and
William Egan (Cobden, ON) led the way offensively for the Lords with ten kills each, and Egan had 24 total attack attempts on the night.
Harrison Wood (Uxbridge, ON) made his return to the court, recording a pair of kills, two digs and a block.
The Lords head to North Bay where they will be back in action against the Canadore Panthers at 3:00 PM.
