North York, ON – In a hard fought match, the Durham Lords experience their third loss in the last four matches as the Seneca Sting take the win in four sets.
Durham kicked off the match with a hot start, taking the first set 25-15 over the hosts. Despite a hard-fought match from the Lords right until the end, Seneca would go on to take the next three sets 25-21, 25-21 and 25-20 to earn their fifth win of the season and hand the Lords another loss.
Quinton Hudgins (Port Perry, ON) registered 11 kills on 23 total attack attempts while
Harrison Wood (Uxbridge, ON) attempted 29, recording eight kills.
Tyler Jegen (Calgary, AB) tallied 23 of 24 assists for the Lords on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, three Lords posted double digit digs with Jegen posting 15, Hudgins tallying 13 and
Jacques Tournadre (Milton, ON) grabbing 10.
The Lords blocked 12 shots to Seneca's four in the match, with
Carter Reid (Oshawa, ON) and his five blocks leading the way.
The Lords will wrap up regular season play on Friday at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Centre against the Algonquin Wolves before looking ahead to the OCAA Qualifiers.
