OSHAWA, ON - The Durham College men's rugby team improve to 2-0 on the season with a 45-14 home opener win against the Georgian Grizzlies.

Mackenzie Rowley (Ajax, ON) was the first to score for Durham after trailing early to the visiting Grizzlies approximately 15 minutes into the match.

Tyler Janes (Pickering, ON) scored a try 10 minutes later and the Lords would eventually go into halftime with a 20-9 lead.

In the second half, the Andrex Kellar (Cobourg, ON) scored two tries in the first 15 minutes of the half to extend the lead. Late in the game, TK Chinoda (Harare, Zimbabwe) added one more for insurance to give the Lords a 45-14 win.

Sitting on top of the OCAA standings, the Lords next play on the road at Sheridan on Saturday, September 30.
