Kalmeyer, a recreation and leisure services student, played a key role both offensively and defensively in the Lords sweep of the George Brown Huskies on Thursday. A relatively regular night for her offensively with seven kills and an ace, she was also strong defensively with a match-high seven digs. Known for her presence at the net, this was also a career-high dig total for the 6'1 middle.
 
The women's volleyball team wraps up the first half of their season with matches this Thursday at home against Centennial and on the road next Wednesday at Seneca. First serve in both matches is 6 p.m.

The Durham College athlete of the week awards are presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
