Durham College Athletics

Romain, a human resources student, helped the women's volleyball team stay undefeated through to the midway point in the season. She ran the balanced Durham offence in their sweep of the Seneca Sting, with 28 assists – which has her ranked first in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) for assists per set with 9.01. She also picked up a block and two aces in the victory.
 
Both volleyball teams are now off until Jan. 6-7 when the women's volleyball team hosts the Adidas Cup at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre, while the men travel to Welland for the Niagara Knights Invitational.
 
The Durham College athlete of the week awards are presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
