Durham College Athletics

Panchan, a third-year sport management student, was impressive as always by recording double-doubles in Durham’s wins over Centennial and Loyalist this week. She had 49 points and 23 rebounds over the two games. They cruised through Loyalist, beating them 86-34 on the road to cap off the week after defeating the Centennial Colts 79-53 on Tuesday. The Lords improved to 8-3 in conference play and 12-5 overall.
 
This week the Lords basketball teams are home on Tuesday night to host the Seneca Sting, while the volleyball teams host the Georgian Grizzlies on Thursday night.
 
The Durham College athlete of the week awards are presented by Subway located at 2069 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa.
