Hinckson Jr., a protection, security and investigations student, has claimed the DC athlete of the week honour for a third time this season after another strong two-game outing this past week. The athletic interior player recorded back-to-back double-doubles as the Lords won back-to-back games, pushing their current winning streak to seven straight. In a dominant road win over the Loyalist Lancers on Tuesday, Jan. 29, Hinckson Jr. recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds, adding one steal and one block. He then followed that up with a new career-high 25 points, and 12 rebounds in the Lords hard fought home win over the visiting Georgian Grizzlies on Friday, Feb. 1, also registering two assists, four blocks, and two steals. The third-year veteran forward ended the week totaling 41 points, 22 rebounds, five blocks, three steals, and two assists in two games played.
