Stasiuk, a first-year protection, security and investigations student, helped the Lords in securing their third consecutive trip to the OCAA championship following a home playoff win this past Saturday. Making an immediate impact in her first season with the Lords, she used heart and hustle to push her team in a come-from-behind victory over the visiting Lambton Lions. Stasiuk recorded her ninth double-double of the season, registering a team-high 18 points and 14 rebounds, while adding four assists, three steals and one block. The most crucial moment of her strong playoff showing came in the final seconds as she corralled a defensive rebound before barreling down court, putting pressure on the Lions defence, she was able to slip a perfect pass to teammate Maddie Dender who knocked down the game-winning layup with ease.
