Belanger, a second-year general arts and science student, provided consistent scoring for the Lords en route to a provincial silver medal at the OCAA championship this past weekend. The powerful interior player was named an OCAA league all-star at the awards banquet prior to the start of the championship after finishing fifth in the east scoring race with 55 total points this season. Once competition began, her bruising style helped allow the Lords to march the field, while she also served as the team's primary convert kicker. In the championship semifinal she nailed two successful converts, while in the championship final she scored of the Lords tries and kicked both converts.
