Morris, a first-year early childhood education student, helped the Lords to their second consecutive provincial silver medal at this weekends 2021 OCAA women's rugby sevens championship. Hosted by Durham College, Morris was able to compete in front of the home crowd and in the Lords 15-7 semifinal win over the Fleming Knights delivered a hat-trick of tries to excite the DC fans. An absolute speedster on the outside for the Lords, in addition to tracking down other teams players and making crucial tackles on the outside, she also added another try in the gold medal game to round out her championship performance. Morris was recognized for her superb play this past Saturday, being named Lords player of the game in the semifinal win and a 2021 OCAA women's rugby sevens championship all-star.
