Durham College defeats Seneca 77-67 TORONTO, Ont. – The wins keep coming for the No. 7 ranked Durham College men's basketball team.
Their most recent victory, 77-67, came Friday night at Seneca College.
Kur Ngong led the team offensively with 22 points and eight rebounds, while
Darian Rowe picked up 20 points and five boards. The team's leading scorer,
Ajahmo Clarke, added 11.
Former OCAA player of the year, Felix Adjei, led Seneca with 24 points and three rebounds.
After the first quarter Durham College led 21-10, but at halftime the Sting had cut the lead in half, trailing the Lords 41-35. Their lead shrank by a point through three quarters as they took a 60-55 lead into the final 10 minutes.
With just over seven to play Seneca trailed 61-58, but Durham took a nine-point lead (70-61) with four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter en route to their 77-67 victory.
Looking at the national rankings, the No. 1 ranked Humber Hawks host Sheridan on Saturday, their only game of the weekend.
